Approved Green Deal Assessor – Certification ID: STRA10303
A Green Deal assessment is the first step for consumers to enter into a Green Deal plan, and can only be carried out by an authorised Green Deal Assessor. Following the Green Deal Assessment visit, a Green Deal Advice Report is produced which outlines the energy efficiency measures that can form a basis for the Green Deal Improvement Package.

Only an authorised Green Deal Installer can install energy efficiency improvements under the Green Deal finance mechanism. Installers may specialise in one or multiple measures.

Gas Safe Register – Registered number 553726
Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey, appointed by the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each area. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register. The main focus of the Register is on improving and maintaining gas safety to the highest standards. We make sure all gas engineers on the Register, over 120,000, are qualified to work with gas.

CHAS – The Contractors Health & Safety Agreement
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers. Assessing suppliers health and safety competence is usually a lengthy and time consuming process. Suppliers can sometimes meet one buyer’s Health and Safety standards but not another. Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as suppliers compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers.

MCS – The Microgeneration Certification Scheme – Membership No: NIC5354
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an industry-led and internationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). MCS itself is a BS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Scheme and was launched in 2008.

MCS certifies microgeneration products used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. MCS also certifies installation companies to ensure the microgeneration products have been installed and commissioned to the highest standard for the consumer. The certification is based on a set of installer standards and product scheme requirements which are available in the MCS Standards section of this website.

CIGA – Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency
The Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency is an independent body that provides 25 year guarantees for Cavity Wall Insulation fitted by registered installers in the UK and Channel islands. The standard Guarantee covers traditionally constructed residential property, although a CIGA Commercial Guarantee is also available to owners of qualifying non residential property.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
ATC Construction are keen to observe ISO 14001 at all times. ISO 14001:2004 specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organisation to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organisation subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects. It applies to those environmental aspects that the organization identifies as those which it can control and those which it can influence. It does not itself state specific environmental performance criteria.

ISO – 9001 – Quality Management Systems
ATC Construction are keen to observe ISO 9001 at all times. ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
